Major Beal is a warranted Federal Contracting Officer and is certified in contracting and program management. His research interest includes whole systems transformation in government organizations.

She is passionate about establishing sustainable, positive and inclusive governance. She is an Associate Professor for the College of Management, Lawrence Technological University, where she integrates Appreciative Inquiry and Sustainable Development concepts into her coursework and has co-authored books, book chapters and several articles.
