Inquiring Appreciatively

Reconstructing Stress-related problems in a Danish Drug Rehabilitation Centre

Abstract

Appreciative Inquiry is extended to inquiring appreciatively and introduced as a linguistic framework to reconstruct stress-related problems. Inquiring appreciatively offers a reflexive potential by paying attention to aesthetic sensitivity. Inquiring appreciatively foregrounds an alteration in conceptual practices that holds profound implications for consultative sense- making and conversational practices which empower conjoint communication patterns that prevent stress-related problems from emerging.
