Abstract

This is the story of how a group of practitioners has continued to grow and deepen applications of Appreciative Inquiry theory and practice over time both personally and professionally. Lonnie remembers, early in her AI practice, a recounting of a Peanuts cartoon. The characters were gazing at cloud formations; Linus saw classical art, Charlie Brown just saw duckies and horsies. She started with an appreciative interview here and a reframing question there. As time passed, there were ‘duckies and horsies’ everywhere.
