Virtual SOARing in a School of Nursing

Creating space for emergent design

Abstract

The nursing program faculty of Oregon Health Sciences School of Nursing needed a new way of seeing and being with each other to see them through as the program expanded and adapted to changes in healthcare. This story tells how faculty in the ‘virtual program’ engaged in a SOAR process within a virtual online environment, and the positive outcomes, both professional and personal that unfolded.
