Abstract

Appreciative Inquiry was developed as an Organisation Development intervention for large group change; Action Learning Sets (ALS) focus on the individual. Many coaches use AI with individuals, so we tried to combine AI and ALS at an International Federation of Action Learning (IFAL) workshop. The common focus was personal development strategy: the Discovery and Dreaming stages used AI, then the ALS process.
